Creek Bank Creations Split Easel Card Die. Designed by Julie Creek, the Split Easel Card Die offers a fun and interactive twist on the traditional A2 card! This wafer-thin die creates a creative easel-style card with a raised center panel that stands up when opened—perfect for showcasing your favorite stamped images, die cuts, or layered shapes. Add seasonal icons, sentiments, or dimensional elements to the center feature for a unique focal point that pops!
Sized to fit a standard A2 envelope (4.25" x 5.5") and compatible with most die-cutting machines using a standard platform. This card base does NOT INCLUDE THE CATHEDRAL ARCH DIE shown in the sample below. This is a card base you can accent in many ways.
To use this die: Start with a piece of paper measuring 8.5" x 5.5". Score along the long side at 4.25" and fold to create a standard A2 card base. Position the longest edge of the die along the fold line with the card laying flat. Die cut. Adhere the two sides flat. The middle section is meant to fold and stand up, and then lay flat.
This photo shows the Split Easel Card base. I have added the Cathedral Arch Die 9, 8, and 7. (The largest die is #14). In the photo it appears the Cathedral Arch is larger than the card, but it fits perfectly. Attach the arch pieces to the lower part of the middle section so that the card will stand up.
