Making A Stand Up Card

1. Choose Your Die – Select a die close to standard card size (A2: 5.5" x 4.25").
2. Pick Your Cardstock – Use 65 lb or heavier cardstock.
3. Cut Your Base – Width of card; length = (2 × die height) + ¼".
4. Score the Card – Score in the center.
5. Train the Fold – Fold and crease well.
6. Die Cut – Let top edge hang over fold and cut.
7. Identify Front – Choose card front.
8. Create Stand – Score halfway down front panel.
9. Second Cut – Cut one full shape.
10. Attach Support – Adhere below score line.
11. Add Stopper – Use foam or layers inside to hold upright.

Products used: Noteworthy Paper Pad, Music die, Noteworthy Stamp , Gold Glitter paper.

To make this card:

Cut Purple Paper 11" x 4.25". Put the long side of the paper on your score board and score at 5.5". Fold. Use the Chubby Hubby Mini Scallop die #14 (counting smallest to largest). Die cut base. Die cut a second top. (as described above). Cut the Gold Glitter paper from the Chubby Hubby Mini Scallop Die #14. Cut Lavender paper from the Mini Scallop Die #12. The remainder of the card is accented with Layered Elegance Die, The Sing and Make Music Stamp, and the It's Your Day Stamp.

To Make this card:

Start with a piece of paper (yellow) That measures 10.75" x 4.25". Put the long side up against the top of your scoreboard and score at 1", 2", 6", and 10". Fold the card and adhere into a stand up card. Cut the pattern paper from the Noteworthy Paper Pad at 4" wide by 3.75" tall. Watch the direction of your paper when you cut! Adhere those panels to the front and back of the card. Die cut Chubby Hubby Mini Scallop Die #13 from Gold Glitter Paper. Die Cut Noteworthy Paper with Chubby Hubby Mini Scallop #11. Die cut Chubby Hubby Sentiment on white cardstock with #10. Stamp the sentiment with the Noteworthy Stamp. Die cut accent pieces with the Music Note Die.
